On Friday, June 6, 2014, at 6:30 p.m., we will host another amazing Galaxy Ball!
At Galaxy Explorers, we are incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication within the STEM community: teachers, parents, and industry innovators creatively provide funding and resources to expand the minds of our youth, and encourage space education and innovation. We are honored to pursue these goals alongside the greatest minds of our generation. For almost a decade we’ve held the Galaxy Ball to honor the inspiring leaders and fantastic volunteers of space education. It is with their help, we create a scientifically literate population, prepare our youth for the expanding demand in STEM-related careers, and allow children to chase their dreams into the next galaxy.
The Galaxy Ball is our biggest fundraising event of the year: funds raised at the gala enable the continuation of the Galaxy Explorers’ mission for the following school year. Without your support, we would be unable to provide fun, affordable, STEM education to the growing Explorer community. This year proceeds will go toward Mission Team expansion, and the development of our Robotics program!
The event is always a wonderful evening catching up with rocket scientists, astronauts, defense and government employees; all committed to advancing space education over cosmic cocktails, dinner, and dancing.
