Great News. This year the FOGE Robotics Summer Camp in Virginia will be held July 11 through 15.
Grades 7-12
Learn about robotics with an emphasis on rovers used for exploring other worlds. Build a programmable rover that includes a rocker suspension system that can travel over rough terrain unlike other robot kits.
The camp teaches rover mechanics, Arduino programming, interfacing sensor, autonomous operations, and remote control.
The best part is, you keep the robot when the camp is over so you can keep exploring.
Family day is August 12.
Lessons:
- Robot assembly.
- Arduino programming.
- Sensor interfacing.
- Collision avoidance programming.
- Maze navigation.
- Processing programming.
- Wifi remote control.
- Controlling the rover with an IR remote.
Recommendations:
- Bring a laptop so you can take all the software home.
Camp fee is $425 non-refundable
